Gen3 Step Install*
Parts - Links, Shims, Locks
1. The links should already be install onto the step but if they are not, insert them into the holes on each side. Links are side specific.
2. Open the links to about what you see in the image.
3. Place the TOP notch onto the bottom of the TOP rail.
4. Push (swing) the step straight back until the links touch the bottom rail. If snug enough, they should SNAP into place.
5. IF THE STEP IS LOOSE, remove and install the smallest shim with the long piece facing up. Repeat steps 3-4 with the next size larger shim until step is snug on the rails.
6. Locate the two holes side by side on each side of the step and install the lock.
7. Push in locks on each side.
